Our college believes in all-round development of students and therefore apart from our success stories in the field of education, we encourage and support the sports in enormous ways. Sports activities foster character development, collaboration & problem solving abilities. Our college has sports facilities of outdoor games like volleyball, basketball, handball, football, cricket, netball, throw ball, Kho-Kho and indoor games like carrom, chess, ping pong, tennis, shuttle, tennikoit. There is also a spacious playground for athletic & field events like running, relay, long jump, high jump, shotput, javelin & discus throw.
We believe in adopting yoga as a way of life and so we encourage our students to practice yoga techniques routinely at 5am in the hostel. It has been demonstrated that physical activities not only improve health and fitness, but also IQ. The brain receives more oxygen, which increases the strength of the intellect. Additionally, it promotes neuron development and produces benevolent hormones, both of which are crucial for brain health.
Students are provided with the opportunity to socialize outside of the classroom through sports activities. Sports activities also aid in the overall personality development and promote mental stimulation for fresh thought. Sports also assists students in honing crucial social abilities related to mingling, rivalry, collaboration, leadership & confidence.
Sports training are being given to the students by physical education teachers of our group of institutions. Our college students have participated & won various medals and trophy in intercollege and university level competition under the SNA unit.
