Nutrition lab capacitates the students with necessary skills in planning & preparing varied therapeutic diets for maintaining optimum health at various stages of life and for various disease condition. It is equipped with all the facilities necessary to learn about various types of cooking methods like steaming, roasting, boiling, grilling, poaching, baking, frying, blanching. Students are trained in the preparation of normal balanced diet as well as therapeutic diet. Nutrition lab has the facilities such as gas stove, refrigerators, microwave oven, mixer grinder, weighing machine, measuring cups, vessels and utensils for preparation and serving the food items.
